What's the difference between nylon spandex and polyester spandex? ▾
Nylon spandex has a softer hand feel, better abrasion resistance, and higher moisture absorption — making it preferred for premium yoga and athleisure. Polyester spandex is more colorfast, dries faster, and costs less — better for budget activewear and sublimation printing. SP3LOPS manufactures both.
Will nylon spandex fabric pill over time? ▾
Quality nylon spandex with proper finishing should not pill under normal wear and washing. Lower-grade nylon or excessive abrasion (e.g. from velcro, rough surfaces) can cause pilling. All SP3LOPS fabrics undergo anti-pilling treatment and Martindale abrasion testing.
Can I get custom colors and weights? ▾
